Summit Awards Night 2024 Celebrates Excellence, Talent, and Team Spirit
An evening of recognition, entertainment, and gratitude at Galadari Hotel Colombo
Colombo, January 11 – The ballroom of the Galadari Hotel came alive with energy, elegance, and celebration as Summit Capital Holdings hosted its prestigious Summit Awards Night 2024. The annual event brought together the entire Summit Capital team — from executive leadership to staff across all branches — for a night dedicated to honouring exceptional performance, service excellence, and the spirit that drives the Group forward.
The evening featured a series of dazzling entertainment acts, including captivating dance performances that set the stage for the night’s much-awaited awards segment. A total of 18 awards were presented, recognizing individuals and branches that went above and beyond in delivering results and embodying the Group’s core values throughout 2024.
The coveted Pinnacle Award for Best Strategic Business Unit Head was awarded to Mr. Lakmal Weerabahu for his visionary leadership, while the Employee Achievement Award – the highest individual honor – went to Mr. Roshan Samarakoon in appreciation of his outstanding contribution to the company. The Pinnacle Award for Best Overall Branch was claimed by the Rathnapura branch, with Moratuwa and Wennappuwa taking second and third place, respectively. In recognition of exceptional portfolio growth, Mr. Malaka Zoysa received the Recognition Award as well. Other special accolades presented include;
